For the math it was hard adding. Mrs Graham told us to do this really hard one. I put the numbers that were the same together like 30 000 and 30 000. I put 100 and 900 together and I put 5000 and 6000 together. I felt proud because I knew what to do.

Well done Jared. I asked you to add some 5-digit numbers together. It was a bit daunting because we hadn't done that before but this photo shows that you understand how the Place Value strategy works for bigger numbers. You were able to group the right numbers together. We will need to work on adding the totals together, but what a great start you have made!
